Funny People

It's strange how people act: some try to be funny, others are naturally. For example, professors will sometimes try to be funny or they don't have to try at all. There are the people who can kill a crowd (not literally) or ones who couldn't even kill a cricket even if they tried or there could be the occasional person that is absolustely hilarious and doesn't think so because of his "dry humor".
My Music Literature and History teacher is hilarious without any doubt. We all get up before 7:30 (or most of us do) to get ready for the class at 8. Mind you 8am basically means that people will be groggy and still half asleep, so we don't really want to be there that early but to pass we know we have to be. Anyway, he can make the morning better just by telling us jokes, and his reactions to music or even by telling us how amazing we are with the musical world. Or my Courtship and Marriage teacher, who is so funny that occasionally it's an awkward situation but we don't even care because its just so funny and we can't help but laugh. I say it's awkward because he's like in his sixties so around the age of my grandparents and he said on the first day of class that we would try to talk about everything that comes with marriage...EVERYTHING!!!! Umm, yeah Mr. Stover I already had that talk with my mom and in middle school, I got it the first time. Unlike other things I don't need to study that seven times to remember it.
Well ok, moving on to the next type of person I mentioned. I believe I'm not the only one in that class that thinks my professor is not that funny. I mean I'll give him credit, he does try. He's just not incredibly good at it, that's probably part of the reason that class drags on sometimes. Personally, I think it's funny to watch his hand gestures, he just happens to be "hand talker," which I'm still trying to figure how someone who teaches history can talk with their hands so much. Hmm, I guess I'll never know.
And finally, I'm brought around to my Psych professor. He is one who thinks and knows he has a dry sense of humor. We'll be sitting in class and he's crack a joke and not expect a reaction, then we'll start to laugh from it. I think it's overwhelming the poor guy, I mean here he makes a joke that he thinks is funny but then we think it's funny and he's absolutely shocked. His brain is probably in override, trying to figure out the math to how he could be funny.
Anyway, that's basically it for now when it comes to my teachers. Adios personas. God bless you all and have a wonderful weekend. Oh, and for all those in the Sioux Falls area, head over to Lifelight, you won't regret it. :)
