So I think I'm afraid of semi-trucks again. Last night when I was driving from Brookings to Lennox it was raining, and anyone that knows what happens when one car passes another while it's raining, water is splashed up onto the windshield. Well last night was the first time I've ever used the windshield wipers on the car that I now have and turns out that when an excessive amount of water hits the windshield at once the wipers stop until it stops. When the semi passed me, it brought that excessive amount of water with it, therefore making my wiper blades stop and almost go into the railing of the bridge that I didn't even know I was on. This happened a second time. Finally, once I reached my mom's house I was still a little shaken. Worst driving experience ever? Without a doubt.
Moving on...
Daniel and I are going to be leaving for Wisconsin in about 3 hours. We are going to be with his family for New Year's and for next week. I'm really excited. And the wait is not really helping but it'll be worth it. In the mean time while Daniel is at work, I'm having a soy chai latte at a really nice coffeeshop name Dunn Bros. I think this could quite possibly be my favorite coffee place in Sioux Falls. Although the thought of coffeeshops is making me miss Cottonwood more and more. Oh well. Take what you get, I guess.
Again, moving on...
It's December...there's no snow...something's not right here. I'm not saying that I miss the cold winds or the cold in general, it's just the snow is pretty especially when its fresh and fluffy. Also if you think about it it just means that the snow is going to last longer into the year. That's really strange to think about. Snow in June. :P ew that's an awful thought. I think that's part of the reason why I love that my birthday is in summer because there's no snow. OOOOOOHHHHH, this next year is a leap year! :)
