Well, 2013 is coming to a close as we speak. I'm sure 2014 will bring us many highs and lows. So as a fun game sort of thing, I've come up with a countdown of my ups from this last year. I would do downs but I don't know if I could come up with ten of them (I've had a pretty great year).
So the good of 2013:
10. A wonderful boyfriend who loves me day in and day out no matter what.
9. Amazing friends who are always there to laugh and cry with me whenever.
8. A loving family, whose faces I never get tired of seeing.
7. Though it may be considered a crap job to many, I'm grateful for my job, I wouldn't be typing this in a bedroom if I didn't have it. It's tough sometimes being a manager but the coworkers I have make it simpler.
6. My adorable little kitty, Misty. Yes, I'm including her, she fills a lot of laughing space in my days especially when I have days off.
5. A healthy body. I wouldn't be able to walk to work a lot if I didn't have my able legs or even make it through the long work days that have consistent moving around. Plus, whenever I do yoga, my body is grateful for getting rid of stress.
4. The new books that I have bought, read, and will continually read again. Extremely grateful for living over a hobby store that sells my kind of books.
3. Dagohir. Before Jeff, I've never heard of it but it's just wonderful. What's better than thinking medieval-like and beating your friends with handcrafted foam weapons? Probably a lot but it's still high up there.
2. I don't know if many will think this as an up besides maybe Dustin but Johnny Depp is still an ongoing, spectacular actor, that is aging beautifully if I do say so myself.
And to the last one, dang this is kind of hard, (this might be cheesy) but I guess the fact that I get to do this all over again next year. Maybe a little differently and with more blogs. :)
So now I guess my resolution even though I've never really done one is to be more relaxed. Food service if anyone knows can wear you down pretty good sometimes, but hopefully next year I won't let it be.
2 Questions for the wonderful people today:
Did you have more of an up year or a down year?
If you do resolution, what will it be for the year 2014?
