In case you didn't know November is National Novel Writing Month. And so far, I'm off to a pretty good start with 4000 words. There's only one problem, writer's block. It's only November 3rd and I'm stumped. I'm going to assume that I just need a day to relax from it. With that being said, I'm going to stop talking about it because I just know that if Tessa sees this, she'll be saying something along the lines of, 'don't be saying those horrible words!' By the way Tessa if you do read this, don't be upset with me, I meant that in the most loving way possible. =) I love you, lady!
And just so I don't leave them out, I love you Jenn and Ginny! =)
Speaking of Tessa, Ginny, and Jenn, on wednesday (Halloween) these lovely ladies wanted to have fun on this day and dress up as book characters for pictures at McCrory Gardens. Since I didn't have to work until 5 and I do adore these ladies very much, I decided to take up their invite and join them in this adventure time. Miss Ginny dressed as Ginny Weasley from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Miss Tessa dressed as Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, Miss Jenn dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland, and I dressed as Wendy Darling from Peter Pan.
We had a blast! Afterwards, the ladies were hungry so we went to Qdoba, where we got some of the strangest looks. At one point before we were leaving, Jenn was getting more soda and a little girl went up to her and started talking to her. Needlesstosay, it was a-dor-able!!!
Moving on...at work (yesterday actually) one of our new employees watched me while I was setting food for drive; when I got done sending an order of tenders and mashed potatoes out, she asked, "I noticed you put a fork and a spoon in that bag...why?" I then explained to her that I found odd how we only put forks with mashed potatoes with gravy. I would imagine that if I were to have mashed potatoes with gravy (which I don't, really) that I would prefer to finish all of it. Almost as my mom always told me, don't take what you won't finish.
With all this in mind, I will say farewell for now.
Bonus question: Do you prefer eating mashed potatoes with gravy with a spoon or a fork? (Sorry spork is not always available)
