First Days of Sophomore College Year

Yesterday, I woke just remembering that it was the day that I move into my dorm to start a new year. So as I lay awake on the futon mattress I think to myself also, 'Hey Kelsey...Daniel moves today too!!!' And of course, it made me as sad as ever.
But getting past that to make the situation better, I started off by my usual morning and started about my day, which included of course seeing Daniel and spending as much time with him as possible. At the time, we were both incredibly hungry and so we got some food and some mango juice and went to go have some brunch-ish type thing. As we got the small meal ready, I turned to look at Daniel and he looked back at me, then pulled me into a hug. All I thought to myself was about how it would be hard to let him go to Sioux Falls.
Once our meal was ready, Daniel led us into grace then we partook into the food, juice, and coffee while watching Despicable Me. Or rather part of it. Not far into the movie, my mom had called me to see where I was and that she would be at the house in a few minutes. Sure enough, a few minutes pasted and my mom, brother, and sister all showed up at my door and started to talk about whatever they could. After introducing all of them to Daniel, we started to load up all my stuff into my mom's van and Scott's truck, and headed on over to Brown Hall.
Now once you get to the dorm you have to check in, well, my check-in took a little longer than necessary but it got squared away. We took my stuff from the lawn to my dorm room and then without even unpacking one thing, we headed over to help Daniel with his belongings. Originally thinking my mom would only take a bookshelf in the van, she ended up taking about half his things, which was ok! :) Once my mom left, Daniel and I packed the rest of his belongings, went to my floor meeting, then went to eat at Eric, Harmony, and Isaac's place. Which was very nice I might add. Then we departed from the loving family and Daniel left for Sioux Falls.

Come Sunday, I had not slept well last night. Going about to Wal-Mart, baking a cake, and going to church on practically no sleep. Then after finally getting coffee in the system, Andrew and I gave Kacey a little birthday gift ;) and then split for the day. After fiddling around in my room, I found Cameron in his room with his roommate and chatted with him, then hung out with Erika and her roommate. We had pizza, talked, and went to the dance in the Jackrabbit Plaza. Having danced part of the night away. As for the rest of the night, it shall be devoted to sleep. :) Goodnight all!
