So a thought that's been on my mind is rather crucial in my life. It's called sacrifice. I say this because for a while now I feel that I have been making so many sacrifices that I thought were either necessary or not. And whether they were or not, I did them without question. But after alot of thinking and coffee, I've not made as many sacrifices as I thought. The ones I have made, they were nothing compared to the ultimate sacrifice I was given; I'm talking about the sacrifice that God sent. God sent His only, pure, innocent, perfect son in order to save humanity from sin.
For example Lent, so many people have sacrificed something: not playing video games, chocolate, junk food, etc. We think we are doing something hard by fighting that temptation. That when the season is done we can just have it again. Something hard would be sending your own son to die for all the wrong of the rest of the world. I mean think of Abraham, he was going to sacrifice his son because he was doing what he was told. Parents think of your children. Would you willing let you your sons or daughters die for the wrong of others? Would you send your sons or daughters somewhere to die?
