So currently I'm just listening to music on Pandora, set to seasonal so it automatically changes according to the next holiday. Guess what's playing now...that's right christmas music. Currently the song is "Baby It's Cold Outside" and it got me thinking...why hasn't it started to snow yet? I mean is it wrong for me to be saying that? I do know some that might say to me right now, "Kelsey why are you cursing and saying such profane things?" But I'm serious. I don't want alot of snow, I'm just curious as to why there's no snow on the ground yet??? I just would just like to add some pretty scenery photos!
Anyways moving on...if anyone has noticed my iGoogle page, I have this one gadget that gives me a 'love quote of the day'. Yeah yeah go ahead, laugh, shake your head in disgrace or embarassment but I like it. As I was saying, so here's how it goes...
"Distance is not for the fearful, it is for the bold. It's for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It's for those knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they don't see it nearly enough."

I actually know what this is talking about. Even though Daniel and I are only an hour apart from each other currently, it's not like we can see each other everyday. We both have school and work. Usually when I do get to see Daniel, it's only for a few hours on Sundays. But the short exposures teaches us to appreciate the limited time that we have, not only with each other but for life in general. Life is short, some people take it for granted. All we can do is live life to the fullest and live each day as if it were the last day. Live the short life you were granted and thank God each and every day for giving you another day, you never know when your last day has come.
Also, towards Daniel...I love you. Thank you for being with me even when you aren't 'here' with me and for caring and loving me back, I'm so lucky to have you in my life. And thank you God for bringing Daniel into my life, he's truly turned it in a direction I didn't see coming.
I have a proposition for you...or a challenge for you (however you'd like to look at it). If there is someone special in your life, ask yourself this...can I make it a day without seeing them? If you answered yes, well I really want to actually know that for a fact but congrats if you can. If you can't however, if you seem lost and confused without them, if it seems like your heart beats slower without them and you almost feel like an anchor is weighing you down or you feel like you could drown...it's probably because you love being around them so much that it hurts when they are gone. Trust me, I'm currently going through that everyday. It's not a bad thing to be without them though, it just teaches you to appreciate and love spending time with them when you do. It'll get better. :) No worries.
I know exactly what you are talking about. I spend so much time away from my love but when she is near the sun shines brighter, the cold nights are warmer, and I am so very very happy. It's worth the time apart to have the time we have together.
